Fabulous polished wooden ballroom floor, just perfect for French dancing!
​Wear flat-soled shoes, trainers are not recommended, and no stiletto shoes please.
Accessible entrance and facilities​, seating and refreshments.

​Doors open 7.30 for 8pm start.   
Our House band Jeudi Matin warms up then ​our Guest Band plays for two long dancing spots, 
with other local musicians in the interval... ​

​As we don't have a licensed bar, please bring your own drinks and a glass - the Co-op shop is just up the road.
If you would like to eat with us first, we sit down at 6.30 - please bring buffet-style food to share, your own plate & cutlery.

We celebrate 20 years of DF Bals @ Patcham !
We've secured a lovely programme for this year... some new to us, like Portmanteau
from Cambridgeshire, newly formed locals Sunset in Provence (Shoreham) and three bands from France - the return of Pirlouette from Lille, Ça Ribote from Brittany, and Peut Qu'Manquer who will help us celebrate our Anniversary in October. 
We've found earliest DF@Patcham photos from 2004/5 but if you have any others, please let us have a copy!

We're just off the A23 as you enter Brighton, near the junction with A27.
Old London Rd is at the entrance to Patcham Village, near the Miller & Carter / Harvester pub.
The Hall is about halfway down, next to Downsview College (the old school building) and 
the Peace Gardens.
 Public transport: B&H bus 5A stops at the Hall, or the 5 stop at Carden Avenue. Metrobus 272 & 17 stop at Ridgeway Ave, The Big Lemon 52 at the Coop. Preston Park railway station is 15 mins walk south.
